The Not For Profit body which represents the Wheatbelt Region to WA Cricket.
Yes, the name changed from The Wheatbelt Regional Cricket Council in 2023.
To coordinate the activities of the Regional Cricket Manager with the objectives of the various associations in the Wheatbelt, and to appoint a representative to the WA Country Cricket Board.
Refer to the map.There are 6 senior and 5 junior associations in the Wheatbelt, with a total of 41 senior and 27 junior teams.
Develops strategies for increasing the participation in cricket
provides support for CCB competitions e.g. Country Week
Facilitates and runs the Cricket Blast program jointly with WA Cricket and the Regional Cricket Manager
Provides information and resources for associations, clubs, and volunteers.
Emma Wilson is the current RCM, who is the key point of contact for Cricket Blast and is involved with all activities which promote and develop cricket in the Wheatbelt. Emma started in 2024 after taking over from Melinda Williams (nee Lucas), with both ladies being proudly raised and living in the Wheatbelt.
The committee generally includes representatives from each senior association, and appoint a Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, CCB Representative as well as general committee members.Refer to the Committee Member page for more information about the committee.
